Strawberry Limeade

We love Cheesecake Factories strawberry and raspberry lemonade. It's so sweet and tart all at once. My hubby can down drink after drink. This is a take on that, but with limeade. I love the hint of sour it brings, a real treat for a hot summer day.
Ingredients

1 (16-oz.) container strawberries, stems removed

1 (12-oz) can frozen limeade concentrate, undiluted

1/2 cup of sugar

5 cups cold water

fresh strawberries,

fresh mint leaves(optional)

*for a tart flavor 1/4 tsp citric acid* (most speciality stores and cake decorating stores carry it. locally I found mine at Spoons n Spice. I recommend trying it with the acid your first time, PLEASE!)

Directions

Option 1. Combine strawberries in a container of a food processor; light pulse until smooth. Pour in a strainer to strain pulp. Combine limeade, sugar and water in a large pitcher and stir until limeade dissolves. Stir in strawberries; pour over ice and garnish with fresh strawberries and mint, if desired.
